Individuals without a high school diploma make up 10% of those that are unemployed, earn an average of $28,000 and 28% less than individuals that have a GED or High School diploma. Facts Adults with low literacy skills are less likely to read to their children. Children who have not developed basic literacy practices when they enter school are 3 to 4 times more likely to drop out of school. I have a new appreciation for the month of October. I am excited to proclaim that I am a survivor and conqueror of Breast Cancer. I join in celebrating fellow breast cancer survivors and conquerors of Breast Cancer. Miles of Learning, LLC is a proactive Community Base Organization which introduces students to internet instructional teaching. This exposure enables students to be better prepared for the new National GED. Miles of Learning, LLC will step out on Faith to provide a second location, for new students ONLY. |
